A free 15-minute in person or video conference appointment to discuss assessment considerations, appropriateness of treatment and address any questions or concerns before booking an assessment or therapy appointment.

Diagnostic assessment usually requires 1 or 2 sessions. It entails taking a detailed history of the problem as well as current symptoms and underlying factors.  Psychological tests are often used. The conclusion of the assessment is the collaborative development of the treatment plan.

Effective psychotherapy treatment usually requires 8-10 weekly or bi-weekly sessions. A variety of psychoeducational, cognitive, behavioural, and experiential techniques are trained in session and detailed homework exercises are planned for the coming week.
